I am originally from China and came to New Zealand at 13 years of age. My love for children made me decide to study Early Childhood Education and I completed a Bachelor of Education 2 years ago. I am really lucky and feel blessed to be part of the team for the past 5 years. I will use what I have been taught to advocate for the most vulnerable and do my best to continue and expand on my skills and knowledge in order to enrich the lives of the children and families of Little People our ‘home away from home’.  I have been in New Zealand for past 12 years.  I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from AUT in 2012.  This is my very first job in the field of ECE, and I feel very fortunate to be part of such a vibrant family at Little People … it is a “Home away from Home” for children as well as for teachers.  
For years I had aspired to work with children because there is no dull moment with them around.  I believe that children are competent and capable learners who are keen to explore their interests, and my role as a teacher is to support/assist them to investigate their individual interests in order to enable them develop the skills dispositions necessary to become confident lifelong learners. 
I am a mother of two beautiful children and I love spending time with my family.

I am a Mother of two awesome primary aged boys, and as a family we enjoy lots of outdoor activities together. I have a Bachelor in Teaching (ECE) and have 8 years experience working with under 2’s. The environment is very important to me so I believe that children need a calm, natural and caring environment as well as time and support to accomplish anything they put their mind to.
