Meet the Chartwell Team!
Welcome to our Team of teachers at our Chartwell Centre.
At Little People we value and nurture strong connections with each other and we feel this has been the foundations for creating a Team environment where our Kaiako/teachers are happy and have stayed with us for so long. In having such a caring environment we have provided a stable and consistent place that is truely a home away from home for our tamariki/children and whanau/families.
All of our Kaiako have had a wealth of experience and are all at Little People with the same values and missions - to provide the best quality care for your tamariki. To nurture, respect, listen and respond, to encourage. To show kindess, love and a warm environment that tamariki/children and their whanau/families will call Home.
One of our longest standing kaiako at our Chartwell Centre is our lovely Josephine, or JoJo as our tamariki often call her. Josephine is our Head Teacher whom has been with Little People since 2008 and has a Bachelor of Teaching. She brings to Our whanau a wealth of experience, knowledge and shares an absolute love and passion for the tamariki and our Little People home.
Anna joined our home in 2019 and also is a very experienced Kaiako, who works closely alongside Josephine. Our tamariki love her warmth, kindness and caring nature. Anna also has a Graduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching in ECC.
Chen has been with Little People since 2019, working previously at our sunnynook centre. Chen has a bubbly personality and a passion for being with the children and ensuring they are happy.
Isabella works with Little People part time as she completes her Degree in Early Childhood. Isabella brings her sparkle, kindness and fun loving personality.
Gracelyn is one of our newest family members and brings to our whanau/family a huge smile every day. She is very nurturing, kind and happy whom our tamariki adore.
When our teachers are away we are often able to bring other kaiako from one of our other centres to come and replace them. This means that the tamariki already know the relievers and have already built nurturing relationships with them.
