Meet the Chartwell Team!
I am originally from China and can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I have lived in New Zealand for 5 years now and have graduated from New Zealand Tertiary College with a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2014. In 2011 I started working at Little People for 2 days a week and then started a full time position in at the beginning of January 2015. I am very passionate about working with children in early childhood settings. I love being part of children’s learning journey, supporting, learning, discovering and growing together as a family here at Little People. I am looking forward to learn more about the children and their whanau.
Malo e lelei.
I am a qualified teacher and graduated from AUT. I value what I do because every day there is always something new to learn, discover and experience. No day is ever the same. Doing what I love breaks barriers of the impossible, seeing potential in children and guiding them through their journey. Moments that captures my heart as a teacher is when I see children achieve their goals and reach their full capacity. This is truly priceless.
I am on the relieving staff here at Little People and are really passionate about working with children. I am going to start my studies to become a qualified teacher in 2016. I want to help children learn and grow by acknowledging their interests and developing this further.
By learning alongside the children will help me as an emerging teacher and help me strive to be all I can be.
